Funded with the assistance of the Creativity Everywhere Grant I received, this mural marks a significant addition to the expanding collection of downtown mural art. It has been a fulfilling experience to witness the excitement of passersby, who appreciate the infusion of new art into our downtown area and express how it enhances their daily commute. Being part of such a supportive community is truly rewarding. The design, featuring Louisiana Purple Iris Flowers, symbolizes a living, natural Fleur de lis. It has been heartwarming to see various individuals, including families, children, seniors, and models, posing with the mural in photos since its completion.
